In recent years China has been experiencing a stark decline in fertility rate, alongside a rapidly aging population. By the end of 2024, the number of people aged 60 and above surpassed 310.31 million, accounting for 22.0% of the total population, while those over 65 reached 220.23 million making up 15.6% of the total population. The rise of the "silver economy" and the increasing demand for rehabilitation services has spurred the rapid growth of the rehabilitation industry, creating unprecedented market opportunities along with vast development potential. According to the latest data from the Development Research Center of the State Council, China’s silver economy is expanding at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 17.3% and is expected to surpass RMB 12.8 trillion by 2025. The fastest-growing categories, smart health devices and elderly-friendly home solutions are witnessing an annual growth rate of over 200%.

Themed “Driving Inclusion” the 2025 International Trade Fair for Rehabilitation and Care (REHACARE CHINA) will serve as a premier platform for product showcases, business matchmaking, and academic exchange. The exhibition will feature cutting-edge rehabilitation and eldercare technologies, including assistive robots and exoskeletons, rehabilitation and elderly care products, sports rehabilitation equipment, smart rehabilitation solutions, home medical devices, hearing aids, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation products, and elderly-friendly living solutions from leading manufacturers and brands.

International Innovation Zone: This area will encourage and support innovative overseas rehabilitation equipment enterprises (including international rehabilitation equipment manufacturers not yet established in China) by showcasing cutting-edge rehabilitation technologies from different countries to buyers from rehabilitation hospitals, elderly care institutions, distributors, and other related industries.
