Innovative Advancements: Fostering New Opportunities in the Greater Bay Area and Asia's Pharmaceutical Industry 

Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area is one of the most open and economically vibrant regions in China. With the support of national and local policies in recent years, the Greater Bay Area has developed into a significant hub for the country’s biopharmaceutical industry cluster. The industry's structure is increasingly refined, giving rise to a globally influential hub for technological and industrial innovation. It is projected that by 2028, the GDP of the health industry in the Greater Bay Area will reach 2 trillion RMB, and by 2030, it is expected to reach a scale of 2.5 trillion to 3 trillion RMB. 

The first edition was successfully held in Guangzhou, attracting 253 exhibitors and 5,308 visits of global visitors from 35 countries. This event served as an open and efficient platform for communication and procurement across the pharma supply chain, aiding Chinese pharmaceutical companies in expanding into the Greater Bay Area and Pan Asian markets. 

The second edition will be hosted in Shenzhen from September 9 to 11, continuously focusing on pharmaceutical industry development in the Greater Bay Area and radiating into the Asian market, highlighting the transformation and elevation of the industry through advancements in new drug research and development, as well as innovations in process technology. The event will feature a precise, technology-driven platform, fostering industry collaborations in the Greater Bay Area and Asia.
