The Southern Trust Sportsdrome is situated in the historic and picturesque Government Gardens. Located near the central part of town and only minutes from the Rotorua Convention Centre, this venue regularly plays host to a full programme of local community sports users.
Outside of regular community use, large tradeshows such as ‘Home & Garden’ and the world renowned ‘Rotorua Marathon’ have used this facility on an annual basis. The Sportsdrome is also favoured for major cultural events, hosting a range of significant touring artists.
Large conferences also use this facility for up to 1130 people dining in unique ‘themed’ events that only Rotorua could come up with. A truly multipurpose venue with a large floor area and accompanying changing rooms, kitchen and additional spaces to provide the basis for excellent events.
