Iteca company is a partner of the international exhibition company ITE Group Plc in Central Asia and the Caucasus. ITE, headquartered in London, is an association of the companies and agencies to organise exhibitions in different parts of the world. Today Iteca offices operate in Almaty, Astana, Atyrau, Aktau, and Bishkek. Iteca is well-known in the Caspian Region as a leading organiser of exhibitions. Topics of the exhibitions and conferences cover all sectors of the economy.
Regarding the number and level of the events held, Iteca has been recognised a leading organiser in the C.I.S. and holds the second place in the former Soviet Union yielding only to ExpoCentre in Moscow.Nine of Iteca’s exhibitions – KIOGE, KazBuild, MiningWorld Central Asia, WorldFood Kazakhstan, AstanaBuild, KITEL, KITF, KIHE, KazBuild Spring – hold the certificates of the Union des Foires Internationales (UFI, www.ufinet.org) confirming the high organisational level of events and their international status. It is noteworthy that Iteca’s projects are the only ones in Kazakhstan to have been approved by the UFI.
In year 2009 Iteca will hold near 40 international exhibitions in Kazakhstan (Almaty, Astana, Atyrau, Aktau), and Kyrgyzstan (Bishkek). Iteca exhibitions and conferences are noted for their high international level of organisation, which makes them leading events in respective economic areas. They are rightfully supported by the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Industry and Trade, Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Health, other ministries and committees, oblast/city administrations (akimats) and specialised associations. Iteca works in close co-operation with national companies, such as KazMunayGas, KazakhTelecom, KEGOC, and Kazakhstan Temir Zholy.
