We as Orion Fair Services and Public Relations Company, have been organising exhibitions for 26 years, ORION is the most experienced fair company in agriculture sector by organising the biggest and the most comprehensive agriculture and livestock Fair in Turkey. This year,we are organising the 8th Agroexpo Eurasia International Agriculture, Livestock and Greenhouse Exhibition which will be held in İzmir International Exhibition Center on September 20-23, 2012. Agroexpo Eurasia is performed simultaneously with ANIMALEXPO where dairy products and livestock have been exhibited. Izmir, the third biggest city in Turkey, has the biggest livestock area in Turkey. It has the most modern exhibition buildings in Turkey. Agroexpo Eurasia is organised in 6 different halls, one is located in outdoor area and other halls are situated in an indoor area of 45.000 sq mt in total. It has been hosting sectoral companies, employees and a great number of visitors interested in agriculture and livestock. Due to Izmir’s central position and excellent means of access, Agroexpo Eurasia became Turkey’s most important exhibition in the mentioned sectors. İzmir, whether its abundant territory and the advanced technology used in agriculture field, is hosting to this great event owing to its agricultural export from its international ports. Nevertheless, Agroexpo Eurasia became the preferential choice of Europe and the Near East, with its wide range of representation by the participation of 334 firms and 527 brands last year. Turkey, because of participation process to European Union, is an opportunist market for foreign companies. Turkish Government has to subsidize agriculture sector in order to attain European standarts and it is occured by only modernising agricultural mechanisation in Turkey. By the contribution of the government, Turkish agriculture has been developing for some years. The companies which invest in Turkish market during that time are going to increase their sales volumes enormously. From this point of view, AGROEXPO will be a great chance for foreign companies in order to meet with purchasers in Turkey and introduce their products within Turkish market. In addition to this hundreds of Professional visitors coming from different countries as the Turkic Republics, Russia, North African Countries, Middle East and Middle Asian Countries which have big market potentials. Therefore, it is obvious that Agroexpo functions as a bridge to enter those markets. During Agroexpo Eurasia 2011, the 2nd Agriculture Import-Export Days were organised and foreign Importer Delegations from 40 countries including Spain, India, Belgium, Germany, Serbia, the United States, the Netherlands, Russia, Canada, Italy, Greece , Egypt, Senegal and etc. visited the fair and conducted face-to-face meetings with the chairmen of leading Turkish companies. The parties were provided opportunity for import-export connections and establishing distributorship. In Eurasia 2011, thousands of farmers were transported to Agroexpo 2011 by 900 Transportion Organisations. By the transportation organisations held by Orion Fair, farmer groups from various parts of Turkey were provided opportunity to visit Agroexpo Eurasia 2011. Along with nonstop overseas operations and the team which constantly improving itself, Orion Fair has been targeting to welcome 650 participant companies and 170 thousand visitors in İzmir. We have been reinforcing the participant and visitor profile every year by providing a comprehensive opportunities to our customers in building sales, earns, establishing face-to-face contacts, making cooperations with Turkish leading companies and to pursue latest sectoral technology.
