Messe Stuttgart is about to make a great leap forward: construction of its much-longed-for new trade fair centre directly adjacent to Stuttgart airport has started. The new trade fair centre will cost around €800 million, will have around 100,000 m² of hall space and a highly modern congress centre, and will open for business in spring 2007. Messe Stuttgart already has an inestimable advantage compared with many of its competitors: according to its slogan, it lies “in the key to markets”.
