On the initiative of Directorate of Affairs of the President of the Republic of Belarus two Minsk exhibition pavilions (situated in 27 Ya.Kupala str. and 14 Pobediteley ave.) were joined on the basis of the Republican Exhibition Center in autumn, 1996. The Republican Exhibition Center was renamed as “BelExpo” National Exhibition Center of Directorate of Affairs of the President of the Republic of Belarus on 11 February, 1998.

Nowadays it is a large exhibition company which possesses an exhibition pavilion of 5000 sq.m. (indoor exhibition area) situated in 27 Ya.Kupala str. and an exhibition pavilion of 3000 sq.m. (indoor exhibition area) situated in 14 Pobediteley ave.. The structure of “BelExpo” NEC includes 15 departments.

Exhibitions held by “BelExpo” NEC turn out to be significant events in the exhibition sphere of our republic. You can hardly find a specialist of a corresponding field of industry who has never heard of such exhibitions as “Expobuilding”, “Milex”, “Furniture”, “Tourbusiness”, “Leisure”, “Prodexpo”, “Perspective technologies and systems”.
