About the trade show
In three days, the fair registered 14,370 professional visits of which 2800 from international visitors who came to Turkey to discover the offer presented by the 150 exhibitors.
Texbridge has become a textile bridge between European and Middele East's countries. For the first time, Repsresentatives of the French Premiere Vizyon, German Munich Fabric Start, Italian Milano Unica and Messe Frankfurt Texworld visited the fair and contributed to the fair’s excitement and good business climate.
Organized for the second time by the Istanbul Trade Shows Inc., in collaboration with the Uludağ Textile Exporters’ Union, Texbridge received more international attending companies compared to last year including Mango, Zara, Maxmara, Adidas and Gap. Important buyers from North Africa, the Middle East and Iraq had face-to-face interviews with attending companies and signed important business contracts that can pave the way for big investments in future. Pale colours dominate fabric and accessories
The Texbridge Fair hosted the leading trend forecasters in Trend Area. One of the famous trend forecasters Niek De Prest and Michel Minne indicated that pale colours will dominate 2013 spring/summer in fabrics and accessories besides hair and cosmetics will be inspired by the natural colours.
Unisex color for women and men
Pantone, the color forecaster company which addresses multiple disciplines globally, presented guiding colour palettes for women and men clothing, sports clothing, cosmetics, life style, industrial and graphic design in Texbridge Fair. Pantone indicated, the key approach should be to animate on-line shops for 2013 spring/summer season. Pantone noted that:
“The new trend in fashion is becoming androgenous and being purified. People will have more natural look in 2013 and will have straight hair.’’ Pantone set colour of 2012 as the orange coolour and emphasized that this colour will dominate accessories and interior designs. There is no longer a separate colour for men and women. Moreover, The combination of yellow and white with grey will dominate 2013.”
“High waist pants coming back”
Famous Italian designers Umberto Brocchetto and Massimo Munari, which created Denim Trends at Texbridge noted that Turkey becomes a key role for the denim industry in recent years and added: “In today, impossible to find a textile company all around the world which has not done business with Turkey's major sector of textile..”
Massimo Munari gave clues about denim trends of 2013 and said that the high waist pants will be back for women and skirts will get longer. “Women look more attractive with high waist in 2013. We will put on men trousers model to women next summer and light fabrics made of denim and linen mixture will be used in these models.”
