About the conference
The South East Asia Glaucoma Interest Group (SEAGIG), the Asia-Oceanic Glaucoma Society (AOGS) and the Asian Angle Closure Glaucoma Club (AACGC) have joined forces to form the Asia-Pacific Glaucoma Society (APGS), securing the future of glaucoma research and development in the Asia Pacific region.
The 1st Asia-Pacific Glaucoma Congress (APGC 2012) is now the only regional glaucoma meeting. Tailored for ophthalmologists, eye surgeons, vision scientists and other professionals with an interest in glaucoma, APGC 2012 will serve as a natural gathering point for both experienced and young professionals to present their research, take part in hands-on instructional courses, and network with the best and brightest minds in the field today.
This inaugural congress is taking place December 7-9, 2012 in Bali, Indonesia. A city famous the world over for its wide ranging arts scene, rich cultural heritage, relaxing surf and sand, Bali is the perfect locale for a gathering that promises an excellent and varied scientific program along with an enthusiastic and eclectic mix of glaucoma specialists from around the world.
