About the trade show

The future of the Smart Grid and Metering industries success will depend on many factors, the one most important at the heart of all future deployments being the establishment of it's communication infrastructure. If the Smart Grid is going to be a success, we will need to see a much required convergence and partnership, of both public and private communication and the Utilities industries.

This September in London, SMi will host their 2nd annual Telecoms for Smart Grids Conference on the 24th and 25th of September. The event will address Utility requirements, Government and regulatory guidelines, and Smart Grid and metering communication pilots.
We will hear unique case studies from the UK, Germany, France, Ireland and Austria, as well as hear what technology is most capable of delivering a secure, reliable and flexible architecture for future deployments.
