About the trade show
AYSAF, the largest trade platform of the footwear sub-industry sector with a market volume of 4 billion USD in Turkey, was organized in the CNR Expo Istanbul between 29 February-03 March 2012 for the 47th time. AYSAF, brought local and global sub-industry purchasing companies and professional visitors together. 3000 foreing visitors visited AYSAF and total number of professional visitors were 22500. AYSAF exhibitors found the opportunity to promote their new season products to internal and external markets.
Organized by the Pozitif Fuarcılık A.S., an affiliate of the CNR Holding, AYSAF-Istanbul International Footwear Suppliers Fair, was organized with the support of; Association of Turkish Footwear Components Manufacturers (AYSAD), Turkish Foundation for Research, Development and Education (TASEV) and Republic of Turkey Ministry of Trade and Industry Small and Medium Enterprises Development Organization (KOSGEB). Purchasing delegations from numerous countries visited AYSAF. Germany, Belgium, UK, Italy, France, Morocco, Tunisia, Bulgaria, Algeria, Iran, Lebanon, the Czech Republic, Yemen, Russia and Ukraine were the countries' purchasers came to find new business contacts. A buyer delegation consisting of 10 companies organized by the Chamber of Commerce of Moldova also had meetings with exhibiting companies.
Approximately 30 foreign companies attended Istanbul International Footwear Suppliers Fair. Italy, India, Agentina, Poland, Hong Kong, Georgia and China attended the fair. Foreign companies who attended the fair also such as; Stella (Italy), Limonta (Italy), Travetti (Italy), Supertannery (India), Phılımaska (Georgia) and Borpelle (Poland) and Finproject, one of the biggest companies of the Italian footwear supplier exhibited their products in the fair.
Purchasing delegations came from various cities such as Denizli, Bursa, Gerede/Bolu and Konya with the organisation of the Pozitif Fuarcılık A.S.. had interviews with attending companies.
