About the trade show
This bi-annual meeting of CSIR has been becoming more and more important, with the backup by over 5000 members of interventional radiologists- the largest group of IRs in the world. Realizing the importance of globalization, CSIR invites GEST to be integrated into this CSIR meeting during this meeting. It is estimated that more than 2000 interventional radiologists, vascular surgeons, neurosurgeons, oncologists, and other specialists will join in this meeting.
The aim of the meeting is "communication, cooperation, innovation and development". The CSIR meeting covers all the aspects of interventional radiology and minimally invasive therapies including vascular interventions, intervetional oncology, non-vascular interventions, and interventional neurology, etc. The cut-edge techniques of minimally interventions highlights pain management, radiation seed implantation, and hybrid interventions, etc. Besides many integrated lectures in the CSIR meeting, the GEST will have one day dedicated to traditional GEST contents including live cases, virtual reality training, spirited debates, industry sessions, and great opportunities for networking at social events.
The meeting has invited more than 30 invited speakers from outside of mainland of China, including over 10 world-renewed faculties from U.S., Europe, and Asia who are dedicated to GEST for ensuring the high academic quality standard and reputation of the GEST. The official language for the whole GEST and part of CSIR meeting is English.
Nanjing (Nanking), the capital city of Jiangsu Province, China, once the capital for six dynasties of China, represents a lot of China's long history and culture. Nanjing has a number of tourist attractions including "Ming Tomb ", Dr. Sun Yat-sen memory museum ", "Confucius Temple," etc, as well as famous satellite cities adored by the tourists with 1 hour transportation such as Suzhou, Wuxi, Yangzhou, Zhenjiang.
Nanjing is located along the Yangtze River, 300 Km northwest of Shanghai, with a convenient transportation of 75 minutes by high speed train. Nanjing has direct airline to Frankfurt every day and also easy to be accessed from Beijing and Hong Kong.
