ince 2001, the Heritage Country of Ain organizes every two years, the county fair heritage. The first edition in 2001 began to honor the centenary of the 1901 Act and since 2003, the exhibition is devoted to "Ain in books." These events serve to highlight the diverse heritage of Ain (built, natural, literary, archaeological, historical, genealogical, industrial know-how) through the many publications of member associations to PPP, which is little circulation by the usual network of booksellers. This show is an opportunity to share these publications to the general public and to also invite publishers, booksellers and authors of the department to showcase their works on the heritage of the Ain. The show takes place over one and a half on Saturday afternoon and Sunday all day, usually in the month of November. Each edition takes place in a different city department in order not to favor a specific geographic area. In 2001, the show took place in Péronnas in 2003 at Chatillon-sur-Chalaronne in 2005 in Ambérieu-en-Bugey in 2007 and, in Oyonnax. A free lecture is offered in conjunction with each show, the late Saturday afternoon. In 2007, the theme was that of the Neolithic and Early History in the Ain (-5500/-52 BC), following the publication of the book of the same title, the third issue of the collection of the Heritage of Country Ain. Hosted by Jean-Michel Treffort, protohistorien. The conference brought together a hundred people. This is a consumer show with free admission. The show attracts an average of 1,200 visitors.
