About the trade show
As a continent enjoying a long tradition of gastronomy Asia is proud of its continuous participation in the Bocuse d’Or, since its creation. Proud of expressing its rich, diverse and refined gastronomic culture, as recognised throughout the world.
Today more than ever, Asian cuisine offers a source of inspiration, its influence spreading to the farthest reaches of the gourmet planet.
Participation in the Bocuse d’Or carries such high stakes that it is to be treated as a contest at the highest level.
Bocuse d’Or Asia will follow its renowned tradition of being organized at the same time and same place as the exhibition SIRHA Shanghai. It will provide the opportunity to the Asian teams, the visitors and the members of the press to discover the finest brands you can find in the industry. All will have one common goal that is to promote the culinary profession and gives everyone a chance to
share new trends and network.
By the end of the contest, 4 Asian candidates will be selected to go to the finale in Lyon, France in January 2013 where they will be competing against the best chefs from all over the world.
