About the trade show

Tangent Link are delighted to announce the inaugural Police Aviation Asia Conference in cooperation with, and support of, the Royal Malaysia Police Air Unit. To be held in the Prince Hotel, Kuala Lumpur  2012. This one-day conference will be dedicated to the challenges that Police Aviators face when dealing with Airborne Law Enforcement and Search and Rescue.

Asia is rapidly developing its Airborne Law Enforcement capability with active sales of helicopters, fixed wing, sensors and vital operational technologies on the cards in the region.  Malaysia is intending to grow its current Police Air Wing by procuring and operating a mixture of light and medium twin-engined helicopters - the plan is to increase its aviation fleet by 18 over the next 4 years. China, Thailand, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand and Brunei already have operational units.
