About the trade show

In the Tradition of Infocast’s Highly Successful Annual Houston Midstream Summit Comes the Premier Midstream Industry Event for Western Canada. Attend so you Can:

- Meet Key Midstream Industry Leaders in Oil, Gas, and NGLs, Involved with Pipeline, Rail and Infrastructure Buildout
- Exchange Information and Strategies with Players Across the Midstream Spectrum
- Arm Yourself with Knowledge and Position Yourself to Make Deals

The Western Canadian midstream oil and gas market is undergoing tremendous change on a number of fronts. As the production from shale and the oil sands is increasingly prolific, Canadian producers are assessing the opportunities to open up new markets such as getting LNG to Asia. Additionally, the mix of rail, storage, and pipeline is changing across Western Canada and down into the U.S. These developments and more are adding up to historic changes in how the midstream industry operates and where the most attractive investment opportunities and deal flow can be found.

Infrastructure developments to facilitate movement aren’t keeping up with the increasing production in the region. Large-scale pipeline expansions are underway, namely Keystone XL, the Northern Gateway pipeline, and expansion of the Trans Mountain Pipeline system. However, any delays in proceeding could translate in Alberta being stuck with “landlocked” bitumen.

Only the first movers who position themselves on the leading edge of new developments will be the ones to maximize their returns from the novel opportunities created by the industry in transition. It’s for that reason that Infocast is bringing together top oil and gas industry players for the Canada
