About the trade show

Approved by the Ministry of Education, Chinese Service Center for Scholarly Exchange (CSCSE) will hold the 17th China International Education Exhibition Tour (CIEET 2012) in seven major cities in China (Beijing, Zhengzhou, Chengdu, Shanghai, Xi'an, Wuhan and Guangzhou) from March 10 to 25, 2012. On behalf of CSCSE, I would like to cordially invite you to participate in this spectacular event.

CSCSE has successfully held 16 editions of CIEET in over 30 major Chinese cities in the past. Recognized as the most influential international education event in China, CIEET has won world-wide acclaim. Whilst meeting the expectations of the exhibiting institutions, the recently concluded CIEET 2011 attracted over 60800 visitors planning to study in overseas countries and regions.
CSCSE will concurrently host China Study Abroad Forum 2012 and sessions of seminars under different sub-themes in Beijing. In these seminars, policymakers, government officials and international education professionals will deliver keynote speeches and present different perspective and analysis about key issues on international education.
With the rapid development of China's economy, study abroad has become a very important channel for personal development. China is now the major source country for international students. In 2010, the number of Chinese students studying abroad reached 284,700, of which the number of self-funded students reached account for about 90% of the total. This fully reflects the huge demand from Chinese students to study abroad.
We firmly believe CIEET will continue to actively promote China's study abroad policy, meet the needs of students going overseas, providing them with the most authoritative, accurate and direct information regarding abroad study, foreign higher education institutions, and related organizations.  CIEET will continue to serve as an ideal platform for the promotion of educational exchanges and cooperation, for opening up the unique channels of cooperation between overseas institutions and schools and their counterparts in China. It will also be an excellent opportunity for overseas education institutions to meet face to face with the prospective Chinese students.
