About the trade show

On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we are pleased to welcome you to attend the 4th Annual World Congress of Vaccine (WCV-2012). The conference will be held during March 26-28, 2012 in Beijing, China. The theme of this conference is "Innovations Accelerating Vaccine Development".

As you know, hundreds of millions of people are affected by infectious diseases each year, which can be prevented by vaccination. Some 9 million children lose their lives to infectious diseases. Under such conditions of poverty, infectious diseases such as reemerging tuberculosis, malaria, respiratory and diarrhoeal diseases still flourish. Despite controversy, vaccine use remains one of the greatest successes in the fight against disease, one with a long history. So far vaccine market will achieve sustained growth over the next 15 years. Increasingly, most governments recognize the benefits of mass vaccination, with successive vaccines delivering healthcare solutions on a large scale, a trend set to continue. It is predicted that World vaccines market will cross the mark of US $40 Billion by 2015.

The annual congress WCV initiated by BIT Congress In 2008 has become accepted as an influential conference for worldwide vaccine professionals to discuss and develop the latest research breakthroughs as well as potential business opportunities. BIT's 3rd Annual World Vaccine Congress-2011 was jointly held with the 4th Annual Protein and Peptide Conference, the 3rd Annual World Congress of BioSoft as well as the 3rd Annual Congress of Antibodies in Beijing which have attracted more than 1500 participants and 48 exhibitors from 56 countries have joined the conference and made the best out of it. With 10 streams consisting of 118 scientific sessions, WCV-2012 involves major topics from basic science, technology to business, economics and policy in the field of vaccines. This year we will manage to provide an even better platform for information exchange and business collaborations after 3 years of successful running of WCV.

In addition to the outstanding scientific program, delegates have the opportunity to enjoy the culture and sights of China during optional post-conference tours.

After the conference, you are welcome to join the most impressive tour to experience the traditional Chinese culture and to enjoy the delicious Chinese traditional food during the optional post-conference tours.
