About the trade show
Termatalia, International Fair of Thermal Tourism, characterized for being the unique meeting that is useful as bridge of connexion between European thermalism and Latin-American, makes the leap in its edition of 2012 and pass to be celebrated in Peru, creating the brand Termatalia-Peru "Water and Nature". Co organized between Termatalia, the Ministry of Foreign trade and Tourism of Peru (MINCETUR) and PROMPERU, the edition of 2012 will be celebrated between the 20th and the 22nd of September in Lima following a similar structure to the fair celebrated in Ourense, with exhibition surface, business area in industrial level and touristic, scientific congress and activities oriented to promote the water culture. Peru assumes the challenge of welcoming the unique specialized fair in Thermal Tourism existing that connect the tradition of Europe and the potentials of Latin America with the goal of gaining new investors and be projected internationally as sustainable destination, as well as creating a brand of "Thermal Country" and to position in this country as leader in the thermalism development at the same time that it could present its resources and possibilities of investment, and acquire the know-how in the development of business based in the exploitation of thermal waters. The organization of Termatalia will allow Peru to gather world experts from this field not only the enterprises and the institutions, but also from a scientific and academic point of view, the consultancy or the European travel wholesaler, that could accelerate the process of thermal development in Peru. This will allow to obtain a great projection in Europe as innovative country in material of Tourism, betting for a product in growth, in detriment of others that go down worldwide as the sun and sand.
