About MAFPEX

Agriculture in particular is a cornerstone of the country's economy employing over 80 percent of the population. In fact, more than 50 percent of export earnings are attributed to agricultural products. With the increase of the diversity and amount of agricultural product, agricultural growth is aimed. With this aim, investments on food, packaging and agriculture are given a chance.

In Kenya, one of the oldest settlements and the hub of finance, communication and transport of Africa, is a solid private sector with a high number of foreign investors.

Kenya, though self-sufficient in food sector, has very limited transfer of goods between the areas of agricultural production and the areas of higher demand. Fertile areas not being supported with irrigation projects and product distribution routes in the country not being fully functional make it obligatory to import a great deal of food products.

The increase of structuring in Kenya, triggers the need for heavy machinery which is met through import. These include; dozers, diggers, scrapers, excavators, plowers, loaders and machinery for screening and sorting soil, stone, metal ore etc. which seems among the possible goods to export to Kenya.
