About the trade show

Brazil, with a population over 190 million people and twice as much territory compared to Europe, has experienced significant growth over ten years, becoming the sixth economic power in the world. Crossed to the north by the equator and south by the Tropic of Capricorn, Brazil is the ideal market for solar energy development.

The Brazil depends on hydroelectric power for the provision of more than three quarters of its electricity, but the current government policies have focused mainly on improving the efficiency of the energy matrix, both in homes and in industry as well as the increase of renewable sources, such as energy solar, biomass and wind.

The installed PV power capacity in Brazil is estimated at between 40 and 60 MWs, of which 50% are intended for telecommunications systems and 50% for rural energy systems.

Enersol BRAZIL 2012 + will be an important opportunity for all industry professionals interested in this important market in South America, that in the near future, will develop further.

Enersol + BRAZIL will be an annual event.

The event was created thanks to the joint venture between Fiera Milano and Artenergy Publishing, the latter having acquired the majority ownership of CIPA, the organizer of the most important fairs in the South American country. BRAZIL Enersol + is the first step in creating the international network of Enersol +
