About the trade show
At their exhibition stands companies offered all kinds of products for complex and modern waste management; including containers for municipal waste and recyclable materials containers, hydraulic presses, press containers, mills for recycling industry and other of equipment for safe and cost-effective waste storage. The companies which presented their offer in Targi Kielce exhibition centre tightly cooperate with the authorities of communes, towns and cities and municipal companies and provide their assistance in many areas of waste water treatment and sewage systems.
Many companies entered into transactions during the 2011 fair. One of the appliances on offer at the exhibition stands was a modern machine for recycling manufactured by MB Automotive from Italy.
The Fair of Ecology, Municipal Waste Services, Recyclable Materials, Waste Management and Recycling EKOTECH create the chance for professional meetings. One of them was “Environmental protection in the light of legal requirements and corporate obligations”. The ecological conference organizer and Honorary Patron was SEKA S.A. company, Kielce division, one of the largest advisory and training institutions in Poland. The conference provided the chance to become familiar with legal regulation changes, obligatory deadlines and kind of documents which are required by legal regulations. The discussion resulted in the exchange of professional experience in the field environmental protection. The conference speakers were, among others, the expert from The University of Humanities and Sciences in Kielce and environmental protection specialists from the largest Polish companies.
The Programme Council of 2011 fair has been established and this Council provides methodological support for the fair which in turn results in further successes of the exhibition. Minister Andrzej Jagusiewicz PhD, Chief Inspector of Environmental Protection was appointed the chairman of the Council. His presence in the Council is a great distinction for the EKOTECH fair. The Council is composed of outstanding Polish specialists of ecology and recycling: Marek Jóźwiak PhD (the head of The Autonomous Department of Environmental Protection and Development at The Jan Kochanowski University of Humanities and Sciencies), Ireneusz Baic PhD Engineer (Unit Manager of the Waste Management Centre), Krzysztof Zaręba (President of Board at Polish Economic Chamber Ekorozwój), Małgorzata Janiszewska (Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship Environmental Protection Inspector), Jerzy Ziaja (President of the National Economic Chamber for Recycling), Bartłomiej Molęda (Environmental Protection Department Manger at Kielce City Hall), Maciej Sekunda (President of Board at SEKA S.A.), Mariusz Marciniak (Kielce Division Manager of SEKA S.A.), Tomasz Łuczak (Deputy Director for Environmental Protection of SEKA S.A. Katowice Unit), Mira Stanisławska – Meysztowicz („Nasza Ziemia” Our Earth Foundation Chairperson), Janusz Śledziński (Director of the Department of Rural Areas Development and Environment at the at Świętokrzyskie Marshal’s Office) and Jan J. Lis PhD (Deputy Director of the Department of Rural Areas Development and Environment at the at Świętokrzyskie Marshal’s Office).
The General Inspectorate for Environmental Protection, Polish Economic Chamber of Recycling, Institute of Environmental Protection – National Research Institute and SEKA S.A granted their honorary patronage to the conference.
In 2011, following the example of previous years, ECOTECH was held at the same time as ENEX, ENEX New Energy and PNEUMATICON exhibitions. The exhibition had 1000 visitors more then the 2010 edition.
