About the trade show
EURO-LIFR provided an opportunity to present the best-selling products and organize unveilings of new material handling equipment. The exhibition included all the latest developments in the lift industry in Poland and across the world. It featured presentations of material handling equipment which has recently been developed in Poland and abroad, with the range of exhibited products and services being wide indeed: beginning with lift equipment and components, drives, cabins, lift ropes and doors; through controllers, surveillance and safety systems, operation systems, indicators, hydraulic solutions, accessories and fitments, and finishing with trade publications.
Among the exhibitors were the leading Polish enterprises whose products are widely recognized on the international market. This market also seems to attract considerable attention among companies operating abroad, as exhibitors from China, Croatia, Germany, Italy, Russia, Sweden, Turkey and Spain make up over 40% of all the participants.
EURO-LIFT attracted over 2,000 visitors. According to our estimates, foreigners made up about 10% of this figure.
EURO-LIFT can definitely be regarded as one of the most impressive launches onto the trade fair market to be made at Targi Kielce in 2010.
It was a few months before the fair opening that we noticed enormous attention attracted by this event. And the names of producers and distributors which had their stands in Kielce excellently attests to the high quality of this fair. The exhibitors included Astat, Atlas Lift, BKG Polska, Cedes, Centrum Elektroniki Stosowanej, Cito, D+H Polska, Elevator Trading, Extis, Fabryka Urządzeń Dźwigowych, Kleffman, Global Lift Polska, IGV Group, Lift Components, Liftequip, Lift Service, Lift Service Komponenty, Lifttechnik, Liny Stalowe Brugg, Pilawa, Schaefer, Schindler Polska, SSJ, Sterdźwig, Sterlift Jerzy Roo, Wes, Winda, Wittur, Ziehl-Abegg. And we intend to make every effort to extend the list of next edition’s exhibitors even further.
We have met with considerable helpfulness and support offered by many organizations and publishers. Among those to provide us with support was the Polish Association of Lift Manufacturers, the Technical Safety Centre, the Technical Inspection Office, as well as the European Technical Information Publishers, which brings out the Dźwig (Lift) magazine. It was upon their initiative that the EURO-LIFT fair was accompanied by a National Consultation Forum, during which the topical issues in the lift industry were addressed. The fair was held under the auspices of the Ministry of Infrastructure and the Ministry of Economy, with Poland's most state-of-the-art exhibition pavilion being the venue for this event.
