Having the most important commercial activity in the woodworking and home furniture, the art of woodworking dates back to 20th century in Inegol. The sector, which has started with lumbering and later on continued with chest and chair manufacturing, has the most important place in the Turkish Furniture Industry. During the period through workshop to factory, Inegol, who believed the emphasize of technological development is an invariable fact, has ideally adapted this period to the sector with the initiatives. Inegol, who combines todays original design with the innovations and traditional motifs, has the exclusivity compared to the competitors in the sector as the raw material is obtained from the region. Inegol Furniture Industry supplies most of its needs like organized industry zone, wood, fibreboard, sponge and fabric from the region. Manufacturers, who produce the high quality furniture with a low price, use this advantage effectively.
IFOR Expo, who played an important role in the sectors development from the past to today, gives acceleration to the sector with MOYAF (Wood Machines and Furniture Components Fair). In inegol, where the most important furniture manufacturing activity takes place, there will be 95 local exhibitors in MOYAF which is organized by IFOR for the third time. Inegol, which has the most important commercial activity in the woodworking and home furniture industry, enables the sector leaders to meet the national and international suppliers with this fair. Inegol Furniture Industry seizes the chance to see everything related to woodworking industry and furniture in MOYAF. Everything related to furniture components will take place in MOYAF. The new meeting point of the sector is waiting for the visitors in March 2011.
