Founded in 1946, the Flanders International Trade Fair (FITF) is a private non-profit organisation specialised in organising trade fairs, congresses and events. FITF is an official member of the UFI (Union des Foires Internationales) and Febelux (Federation of Fairs and Trade Shows of Belgium and Luxemburg), and is also involved in international cooperations (Algeria,Tunisia,...) for organising Belgian participations in foreign countries.

Incorporated in the FITF Group is IFAS, International Fair & Congress Services, also a non-profit organisation. IFAS is more specialised in organising business to business trade exhibitions and congresses in Belgium and abroad.

Together FITF and IFAS are one of the largest private trade fair organisers in Belgium and owner or co-owner of about 4 yearly exhibitions, receiving over 150 000 visitors in total.
