NZ Contemporary Art Trust

The NZ Contemporary Art Trust is a non-profit organisation established in 2005 to develop and present the Auckland Art Fair. The NZ Contemporary Art Trust is comprised of professionals from within the visual arts industry and diverse disciplines in the wider community. Trustees are: Candis Craven (Chair), Alex McDonald, Dayle Mace, Helene Phillips, David Ross, Deborah White, and Jennifer Buckley (Fair Director).
The main objective of the Trust and The Auckland Art Fair is to foster a greater understanding of contemporary art in the wider community, and to highlight the critical role commercial galleries play in its development. All exhibitors in the fair represent the primary market – or first sale of an artwork – and are dedicated to the ethical representation and promotion of practicing artists.
